About the Event
Plants are all around us and are a vital part of our community. Many medicines grow in parks, along trails, and in backyards and gardens. Join us on a walk through Douglas Fluhrer park as we meet different medicinal plants, discuss their uses, and share identification tips. We'll be talking about practical ways to incorporate these plants into personal and community care.
We’ll be meeting at 10am, and the walk will be approximately one hour. If you can't make this walk, we're hosting another one on July 7th from 7pm-8pm.
Tickets are sliding scale from $5-$20. Please refer to sliding scale guidelines here. Once you RSVP on the website, please etransfer redwingherbfarm@gmail.com your chosen ticket amount to secure your spot on the walk. *If we don't get an etransfer from you within 24 hours of RSVP, your spot will not be held*
The group is limited to 8 people, and we ask that people wear masks and maintain physical distance. Details of the meeting location will be provided in a confirmation email once you etransfer us. Looking forward to seeing you there!
