Tending the Heart: Herbs for Hard Times
Time & Location
Apr 17, 2021, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. EDT
About the Event
This workshop explores how plants can help us through periods of grief, overwhelm, isolation, and long-term stress. Plants can be powerful allies during these times, and offer deep support and comfort. We'll focus on plants that support the nervous system and have an affinity for tending the emotional heart, such as Rose, Hawthorn, Milky Oats, Linden, Motherwort, and more. You'll learn about how to build relationships with these plants, and how to make specific remedies such as syrups, infused honey, herbal chocolates, and bitters.
The workshop is on Saturday April 17th from 10am-12pm ET, and is offered virtually. A recording of the workshop will be made available for those who can not attend at that time. Participants will be sent the recording as well as a PDF of the workshop notes.
